About Supernovae

A small, senior team that ships AI for a living.

We started Supernovae because we kept watching good companies waste a year and a million dollars on AI initiatives that never made it to production. There's a better way — and it looks a lot more like 30-day pilots than 30-page strategies.

Supernovae is an independent AI consulting firm. We help companies — from twelve-person startups to twelve-thousand-person enterprises — adopt artificial intelligence in a way that compounds.

That means starting small, measuring everything, killing what doesn't work, and scaling what does. It means treating AI like any other capital investment: it has to earn its keep.

We work across three outcomes that consistently move the business: streamlining internal workflows, increasing sales productivity, and improving the experience your customers have with you. Everything else — the model debates, the platform decisions, the governance frameworks — is in service of those three.

Operating principles

How we work, in six lines

Business outcome before model choice

We start with your P&L, not your tech stack. The first conversation is about what would change if AI worked here — not which LLM to pick.

Ship in weeks, not slides in months

Every engagement has a working artifact in users' hands within 30 days. Strategy that doesn't ship is just expensive opinion.

Vendor-neutral, opinionated

We've shipped on every major provider and a long tail of open-source models. We'll tell you what we'd choose and why — but we don't take vendor kickbacks.

Senior practitioners only

There's no junior army behind the scenes. The people in the room with you are the people doing the work.

Make ourselves unnecessary

Our goal on every use case is a working system your team can own within 60–90 days. Lock-in is a smell, not a strategy.

Honest about what AI can't do (yet)

We'll happily talk you out of an AI project that isn't ready, and into a smaller, sharper one that is.

Software Engineer

Tristan Hakert is a software engineer and soon-to-be SMU Computer Science graduate. He specializes in designing and shipping AI workflows — from prompt orchestration and retrieval pipelines to the production glue that turns prototypes into reliable, measurable systems. Tristan pairs a fresh academic foundation in modern ML with the pragmatic engineering instincts needed to deliver real software in real environments.

Let's see if we're a fit.

Thirty minutes, no decks, no obligation. We'll learn about your business and tell you, honestly, whether we can help — and if not, who can.
